A modern loft flat, with personality, movement, and strength, with an avant-garde decoration, ideal for a person or a couple who want to live in Madrid from the most dynamic and fashionable area of the moment: Ibiza. It is located a few steps away from one of the east entrances of the Retiro Park, "Puerta del Doce de Octubre", where you can access the Cecilio Rodriguez Gardens and the Florida Retiro. The area of Ibiza, also known as "the golden mile of good food in Madrid", includes numerous restaurants, bars, taverns, and cafés that make this area of Madrid more and more popular with visitors to the city.

It is an exterior flat, on the first floor, with 3 large windows overlooking the street, which fill it with light and freshness. The windows offer a beautiful view of the trees of Doce de Octubre street and El Retiro park. The central window is a small balcony where the views can be better appreciated. As part of its decoration, the flat has several mirrors on the walls, which spread the natural light that enters through the windows, creating a very bright and luminous atmosphere. The entire floor is made of light grey tiles, with some carpets offering warmth. The interior of the building retains a classic Madrid feel, with a beautiful entrance hall, a filmy lift, and an elegant façade.

Upon entering there is a small foyer that opens into a TV and reading lounge, with a comfortable white two-seater sofa and a modern-style armchair, a cabinet with art books and magazines, two green benches, and a large flat-screen TV. From there you enter an open and bright loft-like area, bathed in light from the 3 large windows facing outside, comprising the bedroom and an open-plan living room with a two-seater leather sofa, a coffee table, a pouf and a large wardrobe with mirrored doors.

The bedroom has a 1.50 x 2.00 double bed, two cozy bedside tables, and modern lamps hanging from the ceiling. There follows an open-plan living room with a leather sofa for 2 people, a coffee table, a pouf, and a mirrored glass cabinet that gives the room a feeling of spaciousness. To the right of the entrance hall is the kitchen, also integrated into the house as a whole. It is comfortable, practical, and fully equipped with kitchenware for 6 people. It has a round glass table for 4 people that can be used as a dining room or work table. The bathroom is accessed through the kitchen and is spacious, with a washbasin, shower tray, and a space under the washbasin where the washing machine/dryer is located.

LOCATION
Located in the Retiro district, in the east of Madrid, and next to the famous park from which the district takes its name, this flat is just steps away from the magnificent El Retiro Park. It is accessed via the Doce de Octubre entrance which opens onto the Jardines Cecilio Rodriguez, a beautiful place of tranquillity where you can see its famous peacocks. The neighborhood of Ibiza (Ibiza, Menorca, Doctor Castelo, Narváez or Lope de Rueda streets), is a very quiet and pleasant residential neighborhood to live in and is equipped with all kinds of amenities for tourists: markets, shops, and the best gastronomic and tapas area in Madrid. The boulevard area is charming with its lively terraces and one of the highest concentrations of taverns and restaurants in Madrid.

The street Doce de Octubre is perpendicular to the streets Menéndez Pelayo and Narváez. The flat is very well communicated with the rest of the city as it is two blocks away from the Ibiza metro station and has several bus lines just a few meters away. Almost in front of the doorway is the bus stop of line 61 that goes up Narváez and then Conde de Peñalver, and leads to the areas of Goya, Salamanca, Trafalgar, and Chamberí.

The commercial area of Goya is within walking distance, with a wide range of small shops and multiple public transport options. From the center of Madrid (Sol and surroundings), it is 10-15 minutes by bus, with several bus lines available.

Está ubicado a escasos pasos de una de las entradas este del parque El Retiro,”Puerta del Doce de Octubre“, donde se accede a los Jardines de Cecilio Rodriguez y al Florida Retiro. La zona de Ibiza denominada también “la milla de oro del buen comer de Madrid” comprende numerosos restaurantes, bares, tabernas, y cafés que hacen que, cada día, este barrio madrileño cobre más interés entre los que visitan la ciudad.

Es un apartamento exterior, en un segundo piso, con 3 ventanales a la calle, que lo llenan de luz y frescura. Los ventanales ofrecen una bella vista a los árboles de la calle Doce de Octubre y al parque El Retiro. El ventanal del centro es un balcón pequeño donde se pueden apreciar mejor las vistas. Como parte de su decoración, el apartamento cuenta con diversos espejos en las paredes, que esparcen la luz natural que entra por los ventanales, lo que genera un ambiente muy claro y luminoso. Todo el suelo es de losa gris claro, con algunas alfombras que ofrecen calidez. El edificio en su interior conserva el toque clásico madrileño, con un bonito portal de entrada, un ascensor de película, y una elegante fachada.

Al entrar hay un pequeño vestíbulo que se abre un salón de televisión y lectura, con un cómodo sofá blanco de dos puestos y un sillón de estilo moderno, un mueble con libros y revistas de arte, dos bancos verdes, y un mueble con TV plana de gran formato. De allí se accede a una zona abierta y luminosa tipo loft, bañada con la luz de los 3 ventanales que dan al exterior, que comprende el dormitorio y una salita abierta con un sofá de cuero de dos puestos, una mesita de centro, un puff y un gran armario con puertas en espejo.

La habitación tiene una cama doble de 1,50 x 2,00, dos mesitas de noche coquetas y modernas lámparas colgadas del techo. Continúa una sala abierta con un sofá de cuero para 2 personas, una mesa de café, un puff y una vitrina de espejo que le da sensación de amplitud al ambiente. A la derecha del hall de entrada se encuentra la cocina, también integrada al conjunto de la casa. Es cómodo, práctico y está totalmente equipado con menaje para 6 personas. Tiene una mesa redonda de vidrio para 4 personas que sirve como comedor o como mesa de trabajo. El baño se accede a través de la cocina y es amplio, con lavabo, plato de ducha y un espacio debajo del lavabo donde se ubica la lavadora / secadora.

UBICACIÓN
Ubicado en el distrito de Retiro, en el este de Madrid, y al lado del célebre parque del que toma su nombre el distrito, este apartamento se encuentra a sólo pasos del magnífico Parque El Retiro. Se accede por la entrada Doce de Octubre que se abre a los Jardines Cecilio Rodríguez, hermoso lugar de tranquilidad donde se pueden ver sus famosos pavos reales. El barrio de Ibiza (calles Ibiza, Menorca, Doctor Castelo, Narváez o Lope de Rueda), es un barrio residencial muy tranquilo y agradable para vivir y está dotado de todo tipo de comodidades para el turista: mercados, tiendas y la mejor zona gastronómica y de tapeo de Madrid. La zona de los bulevares es encantadora con sus terrazas animadas y una de las de mayor concentración de tabernas y restaurantes de Madrid.

La calle Doce de Octubre es perpendicular a las calles Menéndez Pelayo y Narváez. El piso está muy bien comunicado con el resto de la ciudad ya que tiene a dos cuadras de la estación de metro Ibiza y varias líneas de colectivos a escasos metros. Casi enfrente del portal se encuentra la parada de autobús de la línea 61 que sube Narváez y luego Conde de Peñalver, y conduce a las zonas de Goya, Salamanca, Trafalgar y Chamberí.

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.

How can I pay?

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
