→ Building:
The apartment is located on the third floor (without an elevator) of a historic and remodeled building in one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Lisbon: Mouraria. Known as the birthplace of fado and one of the most multicultural neighbourhoods in the city, it offers a charming blend of cultures, history, and architectural richness.

During the month of June, the annual Popular Saints festivities take place in the city. Please note that during this period, the streets of Lisbon fill with activity and music, so more noise is to be expected.
→ Bedroom:
Comfortable bed, modern wardrobe, air conditioning, heater, and double-glazed windows with blackout blinds for a relaxing night.
→ Living Room:
The L-shaped sofa transforms into a comfortable extra-long double bed. The best part? While sitting on the sofa, you have a unique view of the castle, which is beautifully illuminated at night. It also features a cozy reading/relaxation chair, a small private balcony, air conditioning, heater, and double-glazed windows with blackout blinds.
→ Bathroom:
The bathroom features a "rain effect" shower and a heated towel rack for your ultimate comfort.
→ Kitchen:
Equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, four-burner stove, toaster, kettle, manual coffee maker, and cutlery, glasses, plates, bowls, pots, and pans, etc. Dining/workstation table with four seats. Washing machine and ironing board. Not in the mood to cook? You're close to some of Lisbon's best restaurants and food markets.

→ The stairs leading to the attic are quite steep.
→ Renovation works are currently taking place in one of the building’s units, with no estimated completion date.

Enjoy our secret attic room! A special room for the young at heart and old souls to relax, meditate, read (we have a small library curated with English books about Lisbon), practice yoga (mats included), or enjoy a peaceful moment by the window overlooking the castle. NOTE: The stairs to the attic are quite steep.

Additional Info:
→ The property is self-catered. Basic items are provided for your arrival, including hygiene products for the first day, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered as a courtesy only - replacements or refills are not included.
→ Bedding and towels are provided according to the number of confirmed guests in your reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, an additional bedding and towel set will be provided free of charge upon check-in.
→ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers only the check-out cleaning. Extra cleanings or additional linen exchanges may be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
→ Check-in is between 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (additional cost of €25 for check-ins after 10:00 PM). Only one set of keys will be provided.
→ Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Upon departure, please leave the keys on the main table.
→ During your stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property keys. Please avoid leaving the keys in the lock or mailbox. In case of technical assistance needed for door opening or in case of damage to the keys and/or lock, the costs resulting from this service will be borne by the guest. In situations of key loss, a penalty will apply.
→ The property is equipped with noise level monitoring sensors. This system conducts advanced analysis, ensuring our guests' privacy as no cameras are used and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus ensuring everyone's tranquility and comfort during their stay.
→ Baby cot and high chair are available upon request and are subject to an additional cost.
→ City Tax will also be charged according to the law. This Tax will only be applied for the first 7 nights.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel the reservation for free within 30 days before moving.
If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent. If you cancel your booking up to 14 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent. If you cancel your booking less than 13 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.

What happens after I make a reservation?
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on Flatio must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without Flatio is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on Flatio.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On Flatio, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
