Amazing view to the Cretan landscape

Our appartment is in Akrotiri and is 15 minutes away from the sea,the city of Chania, the airport, the port and the National road. Perfect for alternative, family and couple vacation, while the small distance from the cosmopolitan city, makes it perfect for a group of friends as well. A compeletely equiped, sunny appartment, part of a bigger house in a private area of four acres which communicates with nature, offers joy, peace and quite, as well as a wonderful view.
The building is secluded on top of a rock, and the apartment is right under the house where our family lives, in a private area of 4 acres full of olive and other trees, shrubs, herbs and wildflowers of the local flora. Located at the base of the building, on a sloping hillside rock facing Souda Bay. To reach the apartment, we go through a private small street 70 meters long that leads to a spacious parking lot where we can see the staircase that leads to the balcony, surrounded by blooming, fragrant flowers. The bedroom has a double bed and the living room has two double sofa beds. A traditional treat welcomes you, while the house is equipped with everything including a full household as well as what you may need for your personal care.
We named our property "Garden of Zefyrus" because it accepts the pleasant blow of all winds, sometimes powerful and others soft and relaxing. The apartment is a perfect observating spot of alternation of the seasons, which is located 300 meters above sea level. From the windows and balcony you can enjoy a beautiful view to the east, south and west, which includes the sea of Souda Bay and the White Mountains which have snowed peaks most of the time. All around, the rustling of trees, the tweets of birds and the hum of cicadas are heard.

There is a shared parking and a big yard. At the eastern side of the property, right after you pass through the white - fenced frontyard, there is a natural rock garden, which is organised as a herb garden, partly shaded by pine trees. There, you can spend some time soaking in the garden and learning from the owner the uses and qualities of Cretan herbs. You can also explore the farm with olive trees and you can use (after discussion) the BBQ.
We are a four member urban family, we live in the same building. You may not have any contact or you may hang out with us on our free time and participate in our most enjoyable activities. You can meet us at the parking lot or in our yard and exchange a "hello". But you may call us if you need anything (respecting quiet hours) including information or suggestions for your excursions in Chania, since we are experts in tourist information about Chania Prefecture.

Our neighborhood consists of houses which are inhabitted by families, in areas of 4 acres full of olive trees. The place where we are located (Akrotiri), is well known for its exceptional climate, its magical beaches, the change of sceneries,and some of the most important religious monuments of Crete.
Our neighborhood is connected by bus to the city of Chania, which leaves every one hour and the bus stop is a 15 minute walk from our house. Between the house and the airport, there are dozens of Car rentals, but we also can find you bicycles to rent near by. We are connected to Chania, Souda port, the airport and highway that communicates with the rest of Crete, by two roads 5-7 km. You need 10 minutes to get to the airport by car, 15-25 minutes to Chania, depending on the traffic and about 15 minutes to Souda port.
Guests can, if they wish, settle without our presence. You will find the keys in a special keychain with a combination.
