I rent out this furnished, ready-to-move-in bedroom in a modern and clean shared apartment, conveniently situated at Ehrenfeld train station in Cologne's trendiest central neighborhood! All costs and bills are included in the monthly rent. A cleaning service cleans all common areas of the apartment once a week. If necessary, you will also get support with administrative matters in Germany (town hall registration, etc).
This beautiful room is pleasantly bright and very tastefully furnished. On the floor plan, you can find it as 'Room G'. The room furniture includes a comfortable queen-size bed, optional bed linen, a bedside table with a lamp, a large cupboard with four drawers and lots of space for storage, a shelf, a big dresser for all your clothes, a desk with a modern chair and desk lamp to work at the laptop, a ceiling floodlight to calmly relax in the evening, a door wardrobe as well as a large wall mirror. The room also features high-speed internet access, a radiator. You can lock and unlock your room with a security key.
The apartment is located on penthouse level and consists of another three rented rooms with studying or working, young flatmates aged around 20-29 years. All residents have a very good and warm relationship with one another so that you can quickly connect. The wanted tenant is a decent and clean, young person, optimally of quite similar age.
The apartment consists of a hallway, two bathrooms and a separate communal kitchen as a residents' meeting point and for joint activities. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, deep freezer, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and a washing machine with dryer as well as a flat iron and ironing board, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a kettle. All necessary crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking accessories are available.
There are two bathrooms. The first bathroom has a WC, a sink with a soap dispenser and a tall cabinet with personal space to stow away your private bathroom articles. The second bathroom has a sink with a soap dispenser and a big shower cabin with a regular shower head and soothing rainfall shower. Inside the shower cabin there are also some more compartments for personal bathroom items. The apartment is also equipped with bandages and a fire extinguisher.
On the ground floor inside the house, there is a Greek restaurant. A big supermarket is right across the street. In the immediate vicinity are all shops for daily needs, doctors, pharmacies, restaurants, bars and the sprawling Cologne Grüngürtel park with the Colonius tower.
For getting around, you have perfect connections: From the apartment you can reach the Cologne metro stations 'Liebigstrasse' and 'Venloer Strasse/Gürtel' with connection to the metro lines 3, 4, 5 and 13 as well as the train station Cologne-Ehrenfeld with stop of the trains to CGN Airport, Leverkusen, Düsseldorf, DUS airport, Bonn, Aachen and the Ruhr area.
The Cologne Cathedral and central station are just two train stops away. The central pedestrian area at Neumarkt and all Cologne universities and business schools can be reached in only 10-15 minutes.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On HousingAnywhere, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
