Charming and modern one bedroom apartment of about 50 sqm, located on the mezzanine floor - with lift - of an elegant building a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore and the most interesting monuments in the historic center of Bologna.
Guests have full use of the kitchen, sheets and towels are provided. Upon arrival our staff will be at the apartment to explain how the equipment works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, we will be available for any eventuality.
The apartment was totally renovated in the autumn of 2019, paying the utmost attention to the choice of materials and finishes, which are all of an excellent standard. Air conditioning is available in both environments, while the large windows overlooking the porch make the rooms extremely pleasant. Even if the property is located at the crossroads between Via Ugo Bassi and Piazza Malpighi, a fundamental hub for public transport in Bologna, maximum peace of mind is guaranteed by the latest generation of windows and doors with insulating glass.
The property is characterized by the simple and clean elegance of the furnishings, which play on the nuances of white and gray to create a modern and relaxing atmosphere. As soon as you cross the entrance, guests have access to the large living area. The living room furnishings include a double sofa bed (140 x 200 cm), a modern round dining table, capable of seating up to 4 guests, and an equipped wall where the 32" flat-screen TV is placed. The brand new open kitchen is made with wall units in an intense gray color with a refined and functional design: it has all the comforts, including an electric oven, induction hob, Nespresso machine and dishwasher.
The large master bedroom, characterized by light and relaxing colors, is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), as well as an area equipped with a walk-in closet and a design console above which hangs a flat-screen Smart TV 32”.
The bathroom, equipped with refined ceramics, has a large walk-in shower built on site and a practical shower box: it is a comfortable and elegant environment in which to relax while taking care of yourself.
Finally there is a utility room, elegantly hidden behind mirrored glass doors, where the cleaning materials and the washing machine are kept.
Important: guests are required to pay a tourist tax not included in the price (€ 3.00 per adult per night. It is applied only on the first 5 nights).

Area:
The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center, in the area that gravitates around Piazza Maggiore (Church of San Petronio - one of the main churches in the world -, Palazzo D'Accursio, Morandi Museum, Palazzo Re Enzo, Civic Museum), to Piazza Nettuno with the beautiful fount(hidden)y Gianbologna and the former Sala Borsa, home to a large multimedia information library, and to the Two Towers dating back to 1100. It is the real hub of the city and all around it a myriad of characteristic streets intertwine with pubs, trendy clubs, typical and historic shops. A visit to the renovated Herb Market is not to be missed, where not only is it possible to do the shopping, but you can sit in one of the many restaurants and taste the specialties of the area. A few minutes from the apartment is via del Pratello, one of the meeting points for young people in the city.
Public transportation:
In Via Ugo Bassi and Via Marconi (adjacent to the apartment) there are several bus stops that take you directly to the Fair, the train station, and the major hospitals of the city.
Parking:
The property is located within the restricted traffic area (ZTL) and an access ticket is requested. The closest private garage is located in Piazza Galileo 5, where you can fill in a form and gain access to the ZTL.
Alternatively, it is possible to park at the APCOA Riva Reno garage, just outside the ZTL, at a cost of €18 per day, a monthly subscription of €165.
Important: guests must pay a tourism tax, which is not included in the price. € 4,60 per person per night. The fee is only applied to the first 5 nights.

Pets are allowed (€ 20+VAT per night, limited to the first 5 nights).

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on HousingAnywhere must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without HousingAnywhere is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on HousingAnywhere, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on HousingAnywhere.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on HousingAnywhere from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on HousingAnywhere at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?

How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact HousingAnywhere customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
