This bedroom has a double bed, and access to one bathroom (shared between the tenants in the two bedrooms available to rent).

About the house:
Casa B is the house where I live, along with my family, two beagle dogs included, and we are pleased to welcome people and to share space and living. It’s a house with four bedrooms and we are only using two.

It’s kind of an apartment in a horizontal building or a house with neighbours in both sides, as we prefer to see it. Settled in in a private condominium you will be able to enjoy shared gardens and swimming pool with a surrounding of great tranquillity. It's a triplex house/apartment (interior stairs) with four bedrooms, and we are only using two, so the other two are available to rent.

About location:
Casa B Rooms are located in Oleiros - Azeitão, right at the bottom of Serra da Arrábida.

Oleiros is one of the villages in Azeitão, just by Serra da Arrábida. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, a housing area. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the most central area of Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, where you may find supermarkets, cafes, pastry shops, restaurants and other shops and leisure spaces. On foot you also have access to hiking trails.

You can enjoy the countryside, the beach, different possibilities for leisure activities and also the city, from a privileged location.

By car, Oleiros is located around 45 minutes from Lisbon, 20 minutes from Setúbal and the wonderful beaches of Arrábida and 30 minutes from Sesimbra. Still close by, we have the beaches of Costa da Caparica (+/- 35 minutes), Tróia (+/- 20 minutes to Setúbal and then a ferry trip), Meco and Sesimbra (+/- 30 minutes).

There is a nearby bus stop and another one in Vila Nogueira de Azeitão.

In our location, as mentioned, there is a public transport service, but having a vehicle makes your life really easier. You can also take advantage of taxi services or other transport services with a driver.

About the spirit:
Casa B was born with the spirit of challenge and a taste for sharing that led to an enriching experience of short-term stays, essentially for holidays, but also of contact with medium/long-term stays for those who needed housing in our area, for study or work reasons.

In 2023 we accepted the challenge of changing our DNA, adding a philosophy of possible shared life and mutual help between people who have just met. Casa B becomes a space for shared live experience, with the same spirit and taste, but for medium/long-term stays, for those who, needing or wanting to live in the area, decide to choose us.

In our values we highlight the respect for others, with whom we come across, for the spaces in which we move and living as a whole with nature, assuming that we are just one of its integral parts.
Casa B is not Zero Waste, but it is conscious and careful in its choices.
These are the basic assumptions by which we align and which we want to maintain or improve.
We want to live in a positive way, always with the assumption of continuous improvement, and if that is not possible immediately, a smile will certainly be possible and adds :)

We can summarize it as follows:
- There are two rooms for rent, but we do not rent rooms, we share a house;
- The spirit is that of sharing, coexistence, respect and also mutual help;
- We hope to be able to bring together a group of people who, being different from each other, share the same values and concerns.

In practical terms:
- Casa B has two furnished and decorated rooms, with capacity up to four people (one room with a bunk bed – two overlapping single beds and one room with a double bed), but ideally there will be a maximum of two tenants;
- We can have two or just one tenant (if you prefer to have the bathroom just for your use, it is also possible, if you are the first to come in, and adapting the price);
- The two bedrooms are served by an adjoining bathroom, for the exclusive use of guests and shared between them (unless the first person wants to choose the option of not sharing);
- The kitchen, dining room, living room and backyard are spaces shared with me and my family/friends when using the house;
- Each one is responsible for immediately cleaning the used spaces after each use, the weekly cleaning will be a teamwork and managed between all;
- In the condominium, garden and swimming pool are common leisure spaces;
- We are based on the confidence that whoever chooses this experience can naturally adjust and adapt to the other and to what sharing spaces demands, but without forgetting the need to establish some rules and principles, because we believe these will help us in terms of clarity and transparency for everyone (rules and principles that can be adjusted depending on needs).

Cancellation Policy

Neighborly (14-days)

You can cancel the reservation for free within 14 days before moving.

Backup accommodation

If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent. If you cancel your booking up to 7 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent. If you cancel your booking less than 6 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.

Frequently asked questions for this offer

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

All the apartments on offer on Flatio must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.

What is a medium-term rent?

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without Flatio is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on Flatio.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I pay?

On Flatio, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
