Talently is an organization that trains Software Developers so that they can internationalize their career. In this sense, your role will have one of the most important functions and with the greatest impact in the organization. Your challenge as a Career Mentor consists of:

> Getting our participants hired, through training in the employability area, providing market insights and important tips that make a difference means in their applications to different jobs. 馃幆

What does this imply? We work with talent that already has experience and has a very varied tech stack. The task is to help them improve their employability strategies and provide them with support in their opportunity search process.

For this we need you: our Career Mentor.

馃敟 What we expect from the role

– Lead individual counseling sessions (1:1) with participants to develop their soft skills, boost their applications, negotiate their salary or practice for their personal interviews. These sessions are 30 minutes long and are scheduled by the *talent on demand.*

– Help participants set goals and design job application strategies to ensure their successful job placement, in addition to providing accurate recommendations to enhance their performance in personal interviews during selection processes.

– Registration and effective management of a CRM to keep track of the 1:1 mentoring carried out.

– Ensure the recording of feedback from individual sessions.

– Coordinate additional sessions with other teams when necessary.

– Monitor the availability of schedules to provide a quality service to our talents.

– Collaborate with the Placement team in the execution of the expected results.

– Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the experience of the participants and of the program as a whole.

Requirements

馃懇馃徑鈥嶐煉籝ou are the person we are looking for if…

– You are available to work full time (8 hours a day)

– You have at least 2 years of work experience working with software professionals. This includes experience in recruiting IT profiles, employability advice for IT profiles, outplacement of software and related professionals.

– You have an Intermediate or higher level of English, you can orally advise our talents on strategies on how to face interviews in English.

– Accounts with excellent interpersonal communication skills, empathy and adaptability.

– Ability to work well in a team in a fast paced and remote environment.

– You have conducted individual sessions before.

– Academic background: Any higher degree is valid.

– You can assume ownership of your processes, monitoring and negotiating.

– You consider yourself with a good ability to motivate people in difficult times and help them succeed.

– You have experience and passion for the technology sector and working with people.

– Experience in development and programming is also highly valued, with any programming language.
