The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the company’s overall marketing strategy.  We’re embarking on our next phase of hyper-growth and are looking for a marketing manager to spread the word among prospects, customers, partners and influencers about Octane11’s innovative platform and value proposition. This position is a critical driver of Octane11’s growth plans and will be responsible for creating content and marketing executions that support a variety of efforts, including:

  • Thought Leadership: Create compelling content that shares our unique perspective on the challenges and solutions of the exploding enterprise data and machine learning landscape.

  • Product Marketing: Create detailed content that highlights our platform’s value proposition and differentiation, including product tour videos, blog posts and supporting assets.

  • Sales Enablement: Work with our Sales and Account team to help communicate the value of Octane11’s platform through a variety of content, training materials and sales assets

  • Customer Marketing: Collaborate with our product management team to create and support customer engagement and ongoing education on our platform through weekly emails, training guides, webinars …and anything else you can dream up!

This role reports to the Head of Sales & Account, and will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to build and expand our innovative analytics and collaboration platform. About the Role:

  • Develop materials that resonate with our prospects and customers to increase new business and retention including presentations, blog posts, email content, one-pagers, infographics and more

  • Develop email campaigns and newsletters to keep our customers engaged and up-to-date on product changes or new offerings/content

  • Determine KPIs and success metrics for marketing campaigns, tracking results and reporting on findings to the team

  • Manage marketing campaigns across social and advertising platforms

  • Manage the company’s content for the website and other promotional materials

  • Document learnings and best practices to continuously improve marketing GTM practices

  • Work with our partners to create co-branded marketing opportunities, oversee the creation of materials and help launch new partnerships and offers to the market

  • Most importantly, help develop a culture and team that seeks to make our clients heroes and strives for greatness every day

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, specifically creating content and managing marketing programs

  • Experience creating a variety of content – and the ability to take an idea and form a full story, fleshed out content and assets like graphics, videos and ads

  • Creative and independent thinker who can effectively solve problems and foresee opportunities to benefit the organization through marketing efforts

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills with a high bar for accuracy and detail

  • Experience with website design, graphics design, WordPress, Powerpoint, and the G-suite (gmail, docs, sheets, slides, hangouts)
