Who we are
Citizen Remote is the home for digital nomads and remote workers. With our mobile app, we help users in the various stages of relocating to new countries. Whether it’s connecting with other nomads or finding accommodations for living.
We are a new startup but growing quickly and we’re looking to add the newest member to our team!
About the Position
As a part of Citizen Remote’s business, we offer visa assistance services, specifically around digital nomad visas. We’re looking for someone to work hand-in-hand with our Chief Legal Officer to work on assisting our users through the visa application process.
Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
– Preparing visa applications
– Handling client communication and providing updates on application progress
– Working closely with the product & development team as we work on building out automation features for visa applications.
– Building knowledge-base for remote work and digital nomad visa submissions
– Taking calls with (potential) clients when needed
As a small, but growing, startup, we really value someone who is happy wearing many hats. Whether it’s sales, marketing, or admin work, we’re looking for a team player.
About You
Ideally, we are looking for a very detailed-oriented person who doesn’t mind working on applications, filling out forms, going through documents etc. Someone who doesn’t mind getting on a call with a client or chatting via email or live chat. You must be able to provide high-quality work with minimal oversight and possess the ability to work autonomously.
Bonus points if you’re a digital nomad yourself or enjoy traveling!
What we can offer
Ideally, we are looking for an hourly contractor (just let us know what your rate would be) to start part time who would then gradually ramp up into a full time role. We are also open to working out incentives based on sales and overall company revenue.
We are 100% remote company and support you working from anywhere in the world, though we prefer you have some overlap with the CET timezone.
As we are a growing company, there is plenty of room to grow within our company. It’s going to be a fun ride and we hope to find someone that’s excited to join us!
