Ceremonia is seeking an analytical and entrepreneurial leader to define and execute Ceremonia’s growth strategy. In this capacity, you will own the roadmap to accelerate Ceremonia’s already rapid growth (on track to 3x+ two years in a row) – building growth loops, validating and scaling new acquisition/retention tactics, owning channel-by-channel ROI analysis (CAC, LTV, AOV), and delivering a luxury user experience to Ceremonia’s existing customer base. As Director of Growth Marketing, you’ll define the roadmap and vision for how more people establish their own modern day rituals with Ceremonia. You are a curious and analytical self-starter, with a demonstrable track record of experience in paid and organic acquisition (Facebook, Instagram, Google Shopping, SEO), retention (CRM, referral, loyalty programs), and segmentation/personalization. You’re excited to test the newest channels for growing an audience (SMS, TikTok, video testimonials), and know the data needed to either disqualify or further invest in a channel.

Reports to: C-Suite
Define and own the growth marketing roadmap, including:
Testing and scaling paid and organic channels for acquisition and retention
Reporting revenue analytics at top level & across campaigns and channels (CAC, LTV, RFM model)
Define customer lifecycle journeys; owning strategy, building triggered/event-based and one-off email sequences, and testing new touchpoints (e.g. SMS)
Lead concept to completion launches for buyer retention and reactivation, such as referral, shopper loyalty, discounts/incentives
Own segmentation and personalization, customizing shopper experience to where they are in their Ceremonia journey
Forecasting sales performance and define annual targets
Owning paid marketing spend – as you prove ROI, your budget will scale
As channels scale, build and manage a team
Manage customer segmentation strategy and develop smart attribution modeling, ensuring we reach the right audience with the right message, at the right place and time
Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful paid marketing campaigns
Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Facebook, Google Analytics, lifecycle marketing, and CRM software
Excellent analytical and project management skills with strong detail orientation
Strong team management and communication skills
Experience managing large yearly budgets, while still maintaining a scrappy startup mentality
5+ years of experience in fast-moving, direct-to-consumer environments or performance marketing agencies focusing on growth and acquisition marketing
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Shopify
Proficiency in SQL
