The Software Release Manager is responsible for managing the software release process from development to production. The successful candidate will ensure that the software is deployed with minimal errors and downtime while adhering to the company's established software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of successful software release management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the software release process for all software applications
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Aya product & technology to ensure a smooth and timely release process
- Manage the deployment of software releases to production environments and ensure that they are delivered on time with high quality
- Provide multi-level outward communications regarding release milestones, process, and change management
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to software releases
- Maintain and improve release process documentation and procedures
- Produce deployment runbooks and implementation plans
- Work with stakeholders to develop and improve release management policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing efforts to improve the overall SDLC process
- Conducts release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software release management or related field
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and release management best practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN, etc.), CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.), and project management tools (e.g. JIRA, etc.)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile; preferably Agile at scale
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to an annual salary of $170,000 to $175,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
