About the accommodation
Located on the top floor of the House, this spacious two bedroom apartment (100sqm), entirely independent, offers everything necessary to have a fantastic stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee machine, fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine), the living room is spacious and offers a dining table to eat and work, a comfortable sofa bed to rest, enjoy reading or watch the television as well as a chimney for warmth in the winter.
The double bedroom is large with a very comfortable bed and a built-in closet. The smaller room offers a single bed as well as its own closet. The bathroom with bath tub with shower provides comfort and modernity.
You’ll love the private terrace on the roof, offering a view on the village and surrounding nature.

In summer, the house is fresh, bright, silent and comfortable. In winter, with chimneys, besides the heating, their feathered comforters and their tranquility, the house offers a wonderful corner where to escape from the bustle, resting after the different excursions that are made, being a fantastic starting point to travel around the Island.
The owners take special care of the cleaning and after each check out, a specialized company takes care of the disinfection protocol marked by the Spanish Ministry of Health.

Flora and fauna
The fauna and flora of the island, typical of the Mediterranean, concentrates the greatest diversity of species in the sea, with more than 400 different species of fish, hundreds of crustaceans and invertebrates and marine birds, among which the endemic Balearic shearwater is particularly noteworthy.
The crown jewel of the seabed is undoubtedly the Posidonia oceanica. This marine plant forms seagrass meadows, which provide protection and food to many species, as well as enriching the water with oxygen and keeping it clean. The Posidonia oceanica is also responsible for the crystal clear color of the waters of the island. On the land we find 124 species of endemic plants, 32 ferns, 31 orchids, 67 protected species and some 130 introduced from outside the islands, coexisting with the almost 2,000 species of the Mediterranean. They are spread over a variety of habitats.
In the animal world, the island counts more than 300 endemic animal species, most of them insects, snails and other invertebrate animals. But if something characterizes the islands, then it is the lizards, like the Balear lizard and the Pitiüsa lizard. Other endemic animal species are the Ferreret toad, almost a fossil that lives in the gorges of the Serra de Tramuntana and is almost a symbol of Mallorca.
The accommodation is located in Valldemossa, a village steeped in old-world charm. It lies in an idyllic valley in the midst of the Tramuntana mountains and is filled with old stone houses, picturesque streets sprinkled with shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. A must see is Real Cartuja, the Carthusian Monastery where Chopin and George Sand once spent a winter.
The nearest village is Deiá (8km away). Is still very much an artist’s town with a number of art galleries and gift shops, along with a good selection of restaurants while controlled urban expansion has meant that this little village has maintained its traditional beauty and charm. Now it is on every tourist itinerary as a prime example of 'the other Mallorca' and it has even become a popular haunt for the rich and famous, including visitors like Richard Branson, Princess Diana, Bob Geldof and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Palma, the capital of Mallorca is located 20 km from the accommodation. The city is more attractive than ever, thanks to careful city planning and extensive renovation measures in the old town (Casco Antiguo). The so-called 'pearl of the Mediterranean' offers a vibrant lifestyle by day and night, brimming with Mediterranean flair, which attracts millions of visitors each year. 'The Sunday Times' named Palma one of the world's best places to live.

To get to the accommodation from the airport:
- by taxi: around 25 min, 30-40€
- by bus: take a bus A1 from 547-Aeroport - Arribades to 1078-pl. d'Espanya - Estació Intermodal (14 min, 5€), then change to bus number 203 to Valldemossa (35 min, 2-4€). From there you will have a 3 min walk to the accommodation

You can cancel the reservation for free within 30 days before moving.
If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent. If you cancel your reservation up to 14 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent. If you cancel your reservation less than 13 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.

What happens after I make a reservation?
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
What is the standard furnishing of flats?
All the apartments on offer on Flatio must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.
What is a medium-term rent?
The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without Flatio is not that easy.
Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on Flatio.
Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How can I pay?
On Flatio, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.
How can I cancel my reservation?
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
