Car is not needed to get the essentials, as Tisno has several grocery stores, bank machines, coffee shops, pharmacy, a doctor, postoffice, etc. For errands that are not available in Tisno we gladly take our guests along with our car on our regular weekly trips into Šibenik.

This coliving is the perfect place to get your work done in a quiet setting of your apartment, or the sunny balcony, and spend the afternoon swimming, walking along the sea and through picturesque villages, or connecting with fellow remote workers. Think of islands, sea, waterfalls and mountains near by, and even... therapeutic mud. The largest natural lake in Croatia, Vrana Lake, which is also a cryptodepression, is an extraordinary combination of land and water, also known as an abundant ornithological reserve and the centre of biodiversity. Its great value has made it a nature park that has been added to the list of important bird areas in Europe. The Vrana Lake is also included into the ecological network of protected range covering Europe's most valuable and threatened species and habitats - Natura 2000. That testifies to the incredible beauty, uniqueness and importance of these areas that will not leave you indifferent.

Within a 40 min drive from Tisno, you will find stunning Krka National Park. The most breath-taking attractions of the Park are its magnificent waterfalls, including the largest one - Skradinski Buk falls, one of Croatia’s most famous sights. There’s a wide variety of both flora and fauna in the Park. Over 800 species of plant life have been identified in the National Park. Much of the animal life is found in and around the waters of the Krka River, which is home to different amphibian and reptile creatures. You will also be able to see many different bird species (there are over 200!), and possibly some of the 18 different species of bats who call the Park their home!

Town of Murter is the closest landmark to get to another stunning nature spot - Kornati National Park. The Park includes 89 unforgettable islands, islets and reefs and is a true paradise for those who like to sail and love nature. There are 537 plant species on the islands. Animal life is, unfortunately, poorly studied, but we know there are rodents, snakes, lizards, insects, and even beech martens - cute, smart and mischievous predators that look like a weasel and are extremely difficult to see "face to face". Many interesting birds can also be seen: eagle owl, peregrine falcon, kestrel, common buzzard, shag, seagull and of course playful dolphins for those the most lucky ones.
Several companies offer daily boat rides, with lunch and drinks included, as well as time to swim in the crystal clear water. Couple family owned companies offer multiple days sailing courses around the Kornati islands. Hosts can refer you to the best recommended service providers.

Lastly, the well known Plitvice National Park is only 2.5 hrs drive from this accommodation.

Social ecosystem
Downtown Tisno is located 15 min walking distance from the accommodation. It offers all the necessities one needs: grocery stores, fresh produce market and fish market (June - August only), craft beer bar, and many restaurants offering traditional Dalmatian specialties: grilled fish, pašticada, black risotto.

As any small village in Dalmatia, Tisno has many coffee shops and bars where you can make new connactions. The closest night club is in Vodice, 10 min away by car.

Tisno is situated between two bigger Croatian cities: Zadar and Šibenik. Šibenik is 24 km away while Zadar is 56 km away.

Practical

How to get there
International airports: Split Airport (SPU) and Zadar Airport (ZAD)

Traveling by car:
- from Zadar: 1 h
- from Split: 1,5 h
- from Zagreb: 3.5 h
- from Dubrovnik: 4 h

Traveling by bus:
To get to the accommodation by bus, your destination city is either Šibenik or Vodice.
From Šibenik, a local bus drives into Tisno several times a day. The accommodation can provide the local bus schedule.

Property guidelines
1. Smoking outside
2. No parties. Friends and family visiting ok.
3. Check-in time: 3 pm
4. Frequently asked questions for this offer

What happens after I make a reservation?

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.

Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

All the apartments on offer on Flatio must meet certain standards. We require fully furnished and equipped ones, dishes, cutlery and internet connection included.

What is a medium-term rent?

The duration of a medium-term rent is usually 1 to 12 months. Most of the landlords offer long-term rents or rents for just a few days, therefore getting a medium-term rent without Flatio is not that easy.

Can I go through the contract before I make a reservation of the housing?

You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.

While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the landlords on Flatio.

Can I see my chosen accommodation in person before I sign the lease agreement?

Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.

If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.

If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.

Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.

How can I pay?

On Flatio, you have a variety of payment methods to choose from. You can use your card, payment gateway or bank transfer. Just pick the one which suits you the most.

How can I cancel my reservation?

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.

Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!

However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
